RAH – AVATAR

James Cameron may have gone a bit bonkers with his love for Avatar and its endless sequels stuck in perpetual production. But there’s no denying that the 2009 original delivered something quite breathtaking. Having experienced Cameron’s Titanic at the Royal Albert Hall, I can safely say his movies and their scores are literally made for historic venues like these. No doubt the atmosphere will be ethereal as you witness Pandora with a live orchestral accompaniment. These ‘Films in Concert’ productions are always a special occasion, so you won’t want to miss your chance of hearing the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and the National Youth Choir with soloists (all conducted by Ludwig Wicki) tackle James Horner’s memorable score.
