Why advertise with Beach Media Publications?

There are many ways to market your business but broadly they fall under three headings:

  • Face to face networking
  • Social media
  • Print advertising

We specialise in print media and over the last 17 years, our experience has been that people still enjoy reading printed material, particularly community magazines like ours.

If you have customers and prospects in and around North London and want to ensure they are aware of what you offer, our magazines will help position your business in the heart of the community.

How much does it cost to advertise?

Prices start from £80 for an inside page advert which means it costs less than a penny per home we deliver. Discounts available for long term and multiple magazine advertising; prices are subject to VAT.

Aren't these magazines all ads?

We know that people like a good read and we aim to keep readers on the page and your advert in focus. That’s why we dedicate over a third of our pages to fantastic editorial features including local community news, recipes, help and advice, film and book reviews, finance, gardening and much more.

Where are the magazines distributed?

Our individual magazines are each delivered to seven different North London postcodes. See our coverage page to see each area together with distribution numbers.

Why do you have 2 routes for each postcode?

We want businesses to reach residents cost-effectively. To help, we have split each area into two routes, Area 1 and Area 2. That means you reach approx. 10,000 homes and businesses over two months allowing you to make your budget last longer.

Also, by delivering to the residents every other month, they hold onto the magazine for longer which gives you more value for your advert.

Why a different magazine for each area?

Whether you are a destination store, work in a micro-economy or can offer your service across North London, our magazines will provide you with the chance to focus your marketing wherever your clients are. By using different areas and routes your advertising spend is not wasted in areas that are not relevant to your business.

How often are magazines delivered?

All publications are monthly and distributed in the first 10 days of each month.

How are the magazines delivered?

The magazines are hand-delivered through the letterboxes of homes and businesses every month.  Our distribution partners use GPS tracking to ensure distribution is completed correctly.

What is the circulation the magazines?

Total circulation is over 66,000 to local homes.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers, direct debit via Go Cardless, cash, debit/credit card or cheques.

Do you offer discounts?

We offer long term booking loyalty discounts of up to 15% together with additional discounts for booking multiple magazines

Can I switch magazines/areas?

Yes, you can. There is no charge for doing this as long as we know about any changes by 18th prior to print.

How often can I change my advert?

Unless you are advertising something that is time-sensitive, we recommend adverts stay the same for the first 2 issues so that readers build familiarity with your branding. This is not a hard and fast rule, so if you want to change it, we will need to have new artwork sent to prior to the booking deadline, details of which can be found here

Can I advertise for one month only?

We produce a bi-monthly magazine which is distributed over 2 areas; that means bookings are for a minimum of two months.

Can I have editorial space with my advert?

All business editorial articles are chargeable.  We may however be able to apply a discount for you depending on the content

What are the deadlines each month?

Do you offer artwork design?

We offer bespoke, eye-catching advertisements and advertorials FREE OF CHARGE. So, if you do not have your own artwork we can take care of that for you.

Are you able to distribute leaflets?

We can include leaflets when we distribute our magazines. Businesses have commented that leaflets with our magazines gain more response. For more information about costs please call 020 3890 2308 and selection Option 2 to speak with Becky.

Will I receive a copy of the magazines?

We will post a copy of the magazine to you each issue.

Can I pick up a copy of a magazine?

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are not able to place copies of the magazines in our usual pick-up points. If you would like us to send a previous issue please fill out the form on our contact page.
