GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE
Another casualty of the pandemic, this anticipated third chapter of the original Ghostbusters legacy really couldn’t be in safer hands. Jason Reitman takes helm of the franchise that his dad Ivan helped make a global box office sensation. Original legends Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts return but this is clearly geared towards launching a new, younger generation to take centre stage. Stranger Things alumni Finn Wolfhard joins Paul Rudd and Mckenna Grace in a story involving a single mother and her two children who move to a small town and discover that they might have ties to the legacy of the Ghostbusters. There’s a lot of fun to be had and the new (multiple) Stay-Puft marshmallow men are sure to strike a chord with the younger audience.
