Have fun learning to make and mend
If your 2022 resolution is to learn a rewarding new skill, or take a refresher course, Stitch! Craft and Classes in Green Lanes, Palmers Green, run a range of workshops for all levels from beginners to experts.
“We are incredibly proud of the community that has grown and come together in the past year attending stitching circles, crochet classes, learning to use a sewing machine, crafting,” said Stitch! manager Suzanne Kelly “Our aim is to create a fun, supportive environment led by expert knitters, crochet teachers, seamstresses, providing a place where you can buy fabric, haberdashery and crafty supplies.”
Classes coming up in February, March and April include clothes making courses, patchworking, knitting, crochet for beginners and speciality stitches such as waffle, tunisian and corner-to-corner. The weekly Sew and Make classes for intermediate sewers are always popular. Choose a simple item you want to make and Stitch’s resident, expert seamstress Pat Stevens will be on hand to help each Wednesday.
