Company founder Edwin Hillier cultivated his love of plants working at Syon House in the 1860’s, shortly before establishing the company. At the heart of Hillier Garden Centre Syon Park is the beautiful outdoor plant area. The fantastic range of seasonal blooms includes high impact specimen plants and Chelsea-worthy perennials, many skilfully grown by Hillier at the company’s nurseries in Hampshire. Artistically presented lifestyle cameos throughout the plant area will help inspire dream gardens. Immerse yourself in inspired gardenalia, extraordinary houseplants and uniquely curated homewares. There is ample opportunity to recharge, refuel and relax at one of two eateries. The contemporary Courtyard Restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere and plenty of ‘al fresco’ seating, where guests can sip and savour in sight of Syon House’s Great Conservatory. Or, the Clocktower Café will serve up a friendly welcome, great coffee, cakes and sandwiches throughout the day in the uniquely beautiful clocktower building surrounds.
