This winter, will you help patients through their most difficult moments?

For many, a hospital visit is for something routine – but for some, it’s the hardest day of their lives. At Barnet, Chase Farm and the Royal Free hospitals, patients face challenging moments daily: hearing life-changing diagnoses, enduring uncomfortable treatments or spending time alone in ICU. But with the help of our supporters, we can be there for patients when they need it most.

Thanks to kind donations from our community, volunteers are able to visit lonely patients, offering companionship and helping people in their most vulnerable times.

Our complementary therapy team offers patients much-needed pain relieving treatments during long stays in hospital.

And our support hub provides practical support, such as financial advice for patients grappling with an uncertain future. Today, we’re asking for your help so we can continue providing these essential support services across our hospitals.

Kristen, a massage therapist at the Royal Free Charity, explains: “When patients are tired, scared and in pain, a gentle touch or a kind word can mean the world. We build relationships with patients, bringing smiles and comfort when they need it most.”
